If you have fun, then you have success... In 1986 my teacher for sport submit an offer of a cycling workshop in Werdau. My brother was a active cyclist, so I have dicided for a test training. After the first two training the trainer say to me, there is a competition on the weekend and you are game. My first competiton was on a monochromatic map. I have finished anyway and had fun ... My first success was the 2nd place in the championships in the GDR in 1988 in Mountainbike-Orienteering (MTBO). Further success should be follow until I started in the Elite-class in 1996. In this year I won the first two competitions of the ranking series. Further success followed until 2004. In this years I won the ranking series and the german championships in MTBO. In tribute of the victories I became the "sportman of the year". Also I start at international competitions like world or european championships since 1997.

Activities

Beside my sport activities I am trainer in my sports club since 1994. Since 2006 I am the general manager of my sportclub: SV Sachsen 90 Werdau Abt. Radsport.
Furthermore I deal with map design, events and internet presentation of my sport club.
